Google is planning to expand its reach in car by introducing a more powerful version of Android Automotive OS (AAOS) to allow for greater control over vehicle data. The move comes as cars increasingly rely on software for new features such as remote climate controls or smart keys. The company hopes to address this issue by creating a more unified version of the software used by all parties.
