The Olathe School District is undergoing a consolidation process due to declining enrollment. The task force, named Facility Alignment Task Force, was formed by a group of around 125 parents and staff from each school, as well as representatives from the City of Olathe and community. Deputy Superintendent Jim McMullen led the task force and emphasized the district's goal of being transparent and communicative throughout this process. The Task Force will meet three times throughout summer and its recommendations will be presented at the June 4 Board of Education meeting.
