Astoria Column announces century celebration date

The 125-foot-tall Astrophan, which was completed in 1926, will celebrate its 100th anniversary with a celebration on July 18, 2026 in downtown Astoria. The celebration will include exhibits, vendors, and entertainment. The event is part of a larger effort to commemorate the anniversary of the birth of the century.
