The owner of a children's nursery destroyed by a fire, Alison Huntley, is determined to get the site back up and running within weeks. The blaze, which engulfed two converted barns at Tigers Day Nurseries in Thatcham, Berkshire, destroyed 30 years of hard work and sweat. The nursery has temporarily reopened at its former site in Theale while modular buildings are erected at Thatchom. Huntley thanked parents and staff for their support and stated that the team had been able to get back to business quickly. The Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service is yet to investigate the cause of the fire.
