The sisters of murdered mother-of-two Carol Georgiou, who was drowned in a garden hot tub by her husband, Andrew Georgioud, have stated that their family and friends are the ones who received the life sentence. The family praised the sentencing of Georgious, stating that while they are relieved that justice has been served, no one will ever bring her back or account for how cruelly her life was taken. They also encouraged domestic abuse victims to seek help and support. The statement was made through Thames Valley Police and was released by the public.
