Khushal Yousafzai, brother of Malala Yousafi, was shot in the head by the Taliban in 2012, aged 12 and 15. The incident changed both Khushal and Malala's lives, with Malala winning a Nobel Peace Prize and advocating for girls' education worldwide. Khushan fled to the UK for treatment and joined his sister in the country. He has since been drawn to the manosphere, a forum and website where men hold a dominant role in a relationship and women are subservient. The manosphere promotes "traditional" masculinity and encourages self-improvement and self-growth, but it's also a forum for self-development and self health issues. Despite these issues, Khushall credits his support and focus on his own healing system for his vulnerability.
