Port Authority to use tracking devices on airport vehicles after deadly LaGuardia crash

The Port Authority of New York City is planning to use tracking devices on airport vehicles in response to the deadly LaGuardia Airport crash that killed two Air Canada pilots. The devices have been recommended by the FAA and highlighted by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) in its preliminary report. The move is expected to be expanded into an expanded use following tests at Newark Liberty International Airport.
