Report shows Arkansas unemployment rate stable, labor force participation at 14-year high

The February report by the Arkansas Department of Commerce shows that the state's unemployment rate remained stable at 4.4%, while the national unemployment rate rose from 4.3% to 4.5%. The civilian labor force reached a record high of 3,245 and employment grew by 3,519. The state's labor force participation rate is at a 14-year high, the highest since October 2012. The number of nonfarm payroll jobs increased by 4,200 in Arkansas for February.
