United Airlines has announced a new "relaxively" seating system, which turns a row of three economy seats into a couch-like space on long-haul widebody flights. The idea has been popular among passengers, but it hasn't been widely recognized. The new system will be implemented in 2027 on select Boeing 787s and 777s, with plans to expand to more than 200 widebody aircraft by 2030.
