Nashita woman, Kristi Timmons, has been transformed by a new device that allows her to hear and socialize more due to gradually losing her hearing over the years. She noticed her hearing becoming harder to hear around 20 years ago and began making her life smaller and smaller. Her husband, Geoff, initially did not notice the gradual decay of her hearing. She found Dr. Rebecca Grome, an audiologist who also works with the hearing impaired and local Nashville musicians, and found that an A-I hearing aid would work perfectly for Kristi. The hearing aid can adjust to filter out background noise and can also adjust to venues at a new venue when she attends a concert. The device has changed everything, including her social life, which was once smaller.
