The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shutdown is in its 36th day and has resulted in a shortage of federal employees. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), which both received $75 billion in funding last year, are unable to make payroll.
