The KPop Demon Hunters songwriting team, consisting of EJAE, Mark Sonnenblick, Joong Gyu Kwak, Yu Han Lee, Hee Dong Nam, Jeong Hoon Seo and Teddy Park, were interrupted mid-speech by Lee. This was the first time in Academy history that a K-pop track was awarded Best Original Song. The team expressed their gratitude and admiration for their directors and the film's soundtrack.
