NYC’s Penn Station to partially close ahead of World Cup matches — potentially leaving commuters stranded

Parts of New York's Penn Station will partially shut down on World Cup match days, potentially leaving New Jersey commuters stranded. The closure would prevent NJ Transit commuters from traveling on Garden State-bound trains for four hours before World Cup matches start. Instead, World Cup ticketholders would be able to enter Penn Station at its 32nd and 33rd street entrances. The final decision on the closure has not yet been made.
