iPic Theaters files for bankruptcy protection again, layoffs expected

The upscale cinema chain, iPic Theaters, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time due to declining ticket sales and changing times. The company plans to continue its business operations with minimal impact throughout the process. The filing includes 160 workers from an Atlanta operation likely to close. The CEO, Patrick Quinn, stated that a court-supervised sale of assets was in the best interest of the company and its stakeholders.
