The Matthews Police Department is seeking the whereabouts of 23-year-old Alisjah McGriff, who allegedly physically assaulted and pointed a gun at a person in a motel laundry room. Police attempted to stop McGriff but the pursuit was halted due to safety concerns. McGriff is facing charges of simple assault, assault by pointing a gun, and felony evasion.
