Five days later, a body believed to be Molina was discovered near Jericó and Puente Iglesias. His sister, Mayra, confirmed the discovery and confirmed foul play in her brother's death through a GoFundMe campaign. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed. The investigation into the disappearance is "very advanced," with clear leads on those responsible.
