The Trump administration has delayed the application process for new Title X grants, causing concerns among health clinics that rely on federal funding. The grant program's annual funds are typically renewed on April 1, and these clinics rely on this funding to provide reproductive health services to over 2.8 million people, many of whom are low-income, uninsured or underinsured. The application process began in the fall and gave clinics just a week to submit. Clinics were expected to use their awards from the previous year, but can request permission to roll over remaining funds. The National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association has not yet offered reimbursements for expenses incurred during the waiting period.
