Bills in the Louisiana Legislature focused on Franklin Parish Highways

The Louisiana Senate Committee on Transportation approved three bills that would rename parts of U.S. Highway 425 and Louisiana State Highway 17. The bills will need to be approved by the state senate before heading to the state house. The state house of representatives also approved HB 675, which would designate part of the 405-540 area as the Assistant Chief Bill Jewel Linder Memorial Highway.
