The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) is alleging that rapper Pooh Shiesty kidnapped and robbed fellow artist Gucci Mane and several other alleged victims at gunpoint at a Dallas recording studio. The DOJ claims that Shiestys and his co-conspirators then held one of the alleged victims to sign a form releasing him from his recording contract. ShiestY was arrested along with 7 other suspects and could face life imprisonment if convicted. The alleged victims were nearly choked to the point of unconsciousness, and their valuables were stolen from them. The arrests were made across Memphis, Nashville, and Dallas.
