Clipse, Mavis Staples & More Nominated for 2026 Libera Awards: Full List

The 2026 Libera Awards, presented by Merlin, will be presented on June 8 at the historic Gotham Hall in New York City. The nominations were announced by The Foundation for Independent Music (FIM), with support from A2IM (The American Association of Independent Music, Inc). The awards will feature 38 categories, including album of the year and best rap album. Clipse, Mavis Staples, and Hayley Williams, who each won multiple Grammys this year, are among the nominees for record of the Year. The Libera Award also introduced a new category: Independent Record Store of The Year.
