UCLA's Cronin urges allowing schools to exceed revenue-sharing cap

UCLA coach Mick Cronin has expressed concern over the transfer portal, which allows players to find a new school every offseason and allows them to transfer three or four times. Cronin suggests that schools should be allowed to exceed the roughly $20.5 million revenue-sharing cap per school to retain their players. Most schools are giving most of their revenue to football players, while most share their shares with basketball players. The transfer portal also allows for third-party deals outside of school-to-player payments.
