Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves were examined by the Lakers' medical staff during their loss to the Thunder, but both players were cleared to play and returned. Dontic suffered a Grade 2 hamstring strain and Reaves is expected to be out for the start of the playoffs, potentially for the entire season. Reaves, the Lakers’ second-leading scorer and key shot creator, is likely to be sidelined for at least four weeks. This leaves LeBron James as the primary scorer and shot creator for Los Angeles, potentially shifting the team's playing roles to accommodate Dontich. The Lakers sit as the No. 3 seed in the West, just half a game ahead of the Nuggets and two games ahead of Houston.
