NoVA Restaurants Plans To Expand To 100 Sites By 2027

Thompson Restaurants, a division of Reston-based Thompson Hospitality, has reported a 12 percent year-over-year revenue increase in 2025 as it continues expanding its restaurant portfolio. The company opened or converted 11 locations in 2025 and aims to reach 100 locations by 2027 through organic growth, strategic acquisitions and non-traditional locations such as airports and college campuses. The growth was driven by expansion, brand development and operations across concepts such as Milk & Honey, Makers Union, Wiseguy Pizza, Matchbox and Austin Grill. Thompson Restaurants also introduced Velocity Bar + Kitchen in 2026 as a new full-service concept.
