Anne Romke van der H., a suspected far-right extremist, is facing charges of threatening two Dutch princesses, Catharina-Amalia and Alexia. He was found with two axes in a hotel room in The Hague in February, believing he was in a romantic relationship with the future Queen of the Netherlands. Van der H. claimed that the princesses had told him to purchase the axes as part of a survival kit for their joint mission to Poland. A handwritten note with both princesses' names and the term "bloedbad 400" was found alongside the axes, which were also engraved with the names of Amalia's sister and Amalia. A judge has ruled van Der H. as a flight risk due to previous sightings near the royal palace gardens and his admission to stabbing people.
