David Holmes, Daniel Radcliffe's Harry Potter stunt double and close friend, has turned his tragic accident into a stage play, The Boy Who Lived. The play is currently in development at the Kiln Theatre in Kilburn, North West London and will premiere in 2027. The production is based on director Dan Hartley's 2023 HBO/Sky documentary David Holmes: The Boy who Lived and Holmes' account written by him before and after the accident. Holmes was paralyzed from the waist down during stunt tests for Deathly Hallows: Part One. Producer Paul Taylor-Mills was impressed by Holmes' resilience and friendship with Radcliffe. The development process has taken two years and is currently being worked out with workshopping at the theatre.
