Awardward neighbor, a high school teacher, has been dumping trash into an alley where he uses his garage to store a collector's vehicle and other items, every few months, he removes the car from his garage and then dumps it in the middle of the alley. This behavior has not changed in 10 years. The trash pile is 20 feet long, 3 feet wide and 3 inches high, causing it to be swept up and put into a trash receptacle within 5 feet of the pile. The waste ultimately enters storm drains and the adjacent river, contributing to environmental pollution. The issue of this behavior is not widely recognized, but the city's code enforcement bureau can assist by sending an inspector to assess and taking photos.
