YouTube, Meta Liable In Landmark Case Holding Giants Responsible For Kids' Social Media Addictions

A Los Angeles Superior Court jury has found that YouTube, the parent company of Facebook and its subsidiary, YouTube, is responsible for children's social media addictions. The verdict was reached after nine days of deliberations. The case is expected to influence the fate of thousands of similar lawsuits currently pending.
