American Airlines is planning to expand its Admirals Club lounge at Austin Airport to more than double its current size. The new space will be more than 12,000 square feet and feature the first terrace out of any Admirals club in the U.S. The expansion will also have three zones for working, eating and relaxing. The airline is also working on a new Flagship location at Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT) set to open in 2027. The construction process will take place throughout the year, with the current lounge remaining open to visitors during this process.
