Delta cancels hundreds of flights ahead of snowy weekend at MSP

Delta Air Lines, the dominant carrier at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport, has cancelled hundreds of flights ahead of a major snowstorm. The airline, which operates its second-largest U.S. hub at the airport, had scheduled 59 Saturday cancellations and 281 Sunday for Delta and subsidiary Endeavor Air. In total, over 400 inbound and outbound weekend flights were cut. The National Weather Service predicted that the Twin Cities has a 40% to 70% chance of seeing a foot of snow or more through Sunday.
