Rene Gonzales has been sentenced to two concurrent 50-year prison terms for the deaths of Novita Brazil and Gabriel Gonzales. The first killing occurred in 2022 during a drive-by incident. While out on bond, Gonzales allegedly violated his release by removing his GPS ankle monitor. The second murder occurred during a dispute over an alleged assault involving Gonzales' sister.
