The cohosts of the Inside Trader Joe's podcast, Tara Miller and Matt Sloan, have revealed the 12 new and returning items they're most excited about about this spring. The latest episode of the podcast, which dropped earlier this week, featured a list of items that are expected to be available year-round. The items included a salted caramel ice cream with a sweet rice dough, and a prebiotic soda with two flavors: Cherry Cola and Strawberry Vanilla. The spicy cheese crunchies are back on shelves after being discontinued a number of years ago. The new hot honey mustard has been added to the pantry. The black cod, aka sablefish, is covered in a miso, sugar, mirin, and sake marinade from Japan and is said to be in stores already.
