Aurora GreenFest, a 15-year tradition of sustainability and green living, is set to return on May 2 after a one-year hiatus. The event is being hosted by the city of Aurora in partnership with the Mayor’s Sustainable Aurora Advisory Board and Aurora GreenLights, an affiliate of The Conservation Foundation. The festival will be the biggest ever with over 100 exhibitors, including solar installers, local artisans, community organizations and more. The theme of the event is "Make a Difference! Be Energy Smart!" with exhibits about saving energy at home, rebates for household items and "do it yourself" project demonstrations. The community marketplace will also feature vendors selling products designed to make homes more beautiful, healthy and energy efficient.
