The following day was marked by a celebration of the "matchday" for more than 280 graduating students from the University of Virginia. The ceremony was held at the school's Connelly Auditorium in Virginia and was attended by hundreds of students from across the country. The students were able to identify their future in accordance with the guidelines of the National Geographic.
