The New Orleans Regional Transit Authority Board of Commissioners has initiated a leadership transition and a national CEO search. The board passed a resolution invalidating a previously amended contract and authorizing Board Chair Ann Duplessis to negotiate a separation agreement with CEO Lona Edwards Hankins. The national search will begin once the RTA identifies the next Chief Executive Officer. Additional information regarding the CEO search process and interim leadership plans will be provided as it becomes available.
