The northern lights could be visible over Minnesota over the night of Tuesday night, according to predictions from the NOAA Space Weather Prediction Center. Northern Minnesota is expected to have the best chance, but people further south could still see the aurora low on the northern horizon. A minor geomagnetic storm is possible due to lingering solar wind effects, which can push aurora visibility further south. The National Weather Service predicts mostly clear skies for the night, which could improve viewing conditions.
