Charlise Gibbs, the grandson of NASCAR team owner Joe Gibbs, earned his first NASCAR Cup Series win at Bristol Motor Speedway on April 12. Gibbs led the final 25 laps and survived an overtime finish to secure the win. The win was not easy, with Gibbs having to contend with 2023 Cup champion Ryan Blaney in the closing laps. This win marks Gibbs' third top-five finish in the past four races and moves him up to fourth in the season standings. This marks the 23-year-old driver's fourth full-time Cup season and his first win in his 131st series start.
