Kenya's foreign minister, Musa Mudavadi, has expressed concern over Russia's recruitment of Kenyan nationals to participate in its war against Ukraine. The complaint was made during a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. The Kenyan government plans to increase efforts to combat misleading recruitment and false job promises. However, Lavrov downplayed the issue, stating that all citizens of Kenya and other countries participating in the special military operation are in compliance with Russian law.
