WBOY announces 2026 Remarkable Woman of West Virginia

Marlena Chestnut has been named the 2026 Remarkable Woman of West Virginia by WBOY and Homefinder’s Plus Real Estate. Chestnut received over 100 nominations and will be flown to Nashville, Tennessee, with 124 winners on the weekend of March 6 for a once-in-a-lifetime trip. She was originally nominated by her long-time friend, Genevieve Brosky, who believes her success is rooted in her authentic nature. Chestut also serves as a real estate agent and a social services worker. She opened her own private practice in 2020 and has since expanded her practice to other locations.
