FKA Twigs Sues Indie Band The Twigs Over Name Lawsuit & Demand For ‘7-Figure Payout’

British singer born Tahliah Barnett has sued indie band The Twigs over a trademark infringement lawsuit, accusing them of "weaponizing" trademark law to demand a "seven-figure payout" for their similar names. In court papers filed on March 20, Laura Good and Linda Good have threatened to seek a court injunction preventing FKA from using her stage name, unless they are paid out. FKA Twigs argues that TheTwigs have known about FKA's name for over a decade and shouldn't be allowed to hold her name hostage. The case comes after FKA announced her global Body High Tour.
