A homeowner in West Yorkshire, England, found a hedgehog completely caked in mud on their wildlife camera. The owner of local rescue Shelly's Hedgehogs, Mel Fitton, managed to capture the animal and remove the hard, mint green paint from his body. The paint, which has penetrated deep into his spines and skin, could make survival in the wild difficult for the animal. Fitton and her veterinary team removed the paint and sedated Daffy to remove the stubbornness of his tummy. Once his floof grows back, Doudy will be released into the same garden where the homeowner discovered him.
