Highwire Coffee in Montclair Village, Oakland, has reopened after a closure due to operational issues. The shop, one of nine in the Emeryville-based chain, has been gradually expanding hours and serving coffee and pastries daily. Farmstead Cheeses & Wines is close to reaching its goal of $13,000 through a GoFundMe campaign set up to help cover the cost of a lawsuit alleging that the shop’s website wasn’t fully compliant with accessibility requirements for the blind in the federal Americans with Disabilities Act. So far, over $11,000 has been raised from supporters of the business. The owner of Montclair's boutique clothing store, The Shop, is augmenting sales in her store with clothing auctions on two Livestream sites.
