Nico Echavarria, a Colombian golfer who won the Cognizant Classic, has promised to bring a dog to his wife, Claudia, following his victory. The announcement came shortly after Echivarria finished 17-under to secure a two-stroke win over American Taylor Moore and Irishman Shane Lowry. The win, which netted $1.7 million, also included a second invite to the Masters. The couple's previous PGA Tour wins were at the 2023 Puerto Rico Open and the 2024 Zozo Championship.
