Sale poised for next K milestone against familiar Phils lineup

Chris Sale, a 37-year-old lefty from the Boston Red Sox, is aiming to break into the top 25 strikeout records against the Philadelphia Phillies. He has passed Tom Glavine and is currently in 29th place on the all-time list with 2,608 strikeouts. Sale, who was acquired from the Red Sox in December 2023, is looking to replicate his successful performance against the Phillies on Sunday.
