High school girls golf: Morgan opens up sizable lead after opening day of 3A state tournament

The opening day of the 3A state tournament has seen a significant increase in the number of high school girls' participation, with Morgan's top four golfers all ranking within the top 10. The team recorded a 305 team score and is currently leading by 18 strokes. The top five in the competition are ranked by the number nine and ten respectively. The winner of the tournament will be determined by the outcome of the final round.
