She claims that law enforcement has now closed off her ability to speak publicly about the matter. The Melbourne Sexual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team detectives are investigating a historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010, according to Acting Sergeant Paul Hogan of Victoria Police. Rose also stated that the restriction may allow her to speak more freely about the case. A representative for Perry denied the accusations, calling them "categorically false" and "reckless lies".
