Loons’ winless streak hits seven matches

The Minnesota United team has been without a win in seven matches, with a 1-1 draw against San Diego FC. Tomás Chancalay scored the opening goal in the third minute of play, but a penalty-kick goal from San Diego's Anders Dreyer in the second half tied the score. The team's overall record stands at 6-6-6 and they are still in possession of the ninth and final playoff spot in MLS's Western Conference. Despite the draw, Minnesota's head coach, Cameron Knowles, remains optimistic about his team's performance. The next match will be against Lezá FC in the first three home matches of the LIGA MX group stage.
