Family members and community advocates are demanding justice and a thorough investigation into the officer-involved shooting death of DeAundre Hill, more than a month after he was shot and killed by a Wichita police officer during a disturbance call. The Hill family is calling for the city and the district attorney to take action. They are also pushing for the full release of body camera footage from the night of the shooting. The Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office has received the results of the investigation but several key items, including a ballistics analysis and a final autopsy report, are not yet complete.
