Ian Katz, the former BBC Newsnight editor, is stepping down as chief content officer at UK network Channel 4 after nine years. This makes him the longest-serving content chief in Channel 4's history. His departure coincides with the arrival of Priya Dogra as CEO, and a recruitment process is expected soon.
