NETN Association Realtors: Median price of homes in region sitting at $282K

The Northeast Tennessee Association of Realtors (NETAR) reported that home sales in the Tri-Cities increased by more than 10% in March, with Mountain City and Erwin leading the market with a 200% increase in sales. The median price for homes in the region was $282,000, up 4.4% from the previous year. However, Johnson City saw a 34% increase and Kingsport saw a 5% increase with 100 reported sales. Elizabethton and Blountville each reported 25 sales, with gains of 19% and 13.6%, respectively.
