18-year-old held without bond in Heights murder of Austin woman

Darius Hall, 18, has been charged with capital murder in the murder of 61-year-old Austin woman Marietta Allison, who was in Houston to support a friend undergoing cancer treatment. The victim was robbed and carjacked after dropping off her friend at an apartment building following their chemotherapy treatment. Hall allegedly confessed to evading police and being in the vehicle but denied involvement in the shooting. His next hearing is set for February 23.
